My clicker is all the way over there...

What a bad place for it to be. But it got me to thinking. There should be a bluetooth remote device adapter. It attaches to your television, stereo, DVD player, garage door opener, or whatever else you own that is remote operated, and allows your phone to absorbed the functionality of the remote itself. No more emergency battery runs when the clicker dies and the tv is stuck on Lifetime. No more looking for hours to try to find a remote that could be anywhere. And, as is my sorry situation right now, no more having to get up and walk all the way across the room when you've left the clicker in a stupid place. Patent pending.
